Workforce Wednesdays: Simulation in Nursing Education Interest Group

This group meets monthly to discuss simulation education in nursing in Minnesota. We help newer simulation specialists and strategize partnerships, innovations, and workforce needs.

Nursing Education Program Accreditation Interest Group

This is a monthly meeting of nursing education program leaders to gather, share, learn, and support one-another in preparation for program accreditation renewals and achievements. The group includes people who have never been part of an accreditation process, and others who have been a part of multiple accreditation journeys. It also includes site visitors and MN Board of Nursing representatives. The objective of this group is to assist nursing education programs in attaining and maintaining excellence in meeting nursing education standards.

Minnesota American Indian Health and Research Workforce Development Summit

The Center of American Indian and Minority Health (CAIMH) at the University of Minnesota Medical School and the Office of American Indian Health at the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) are pleased to invite you to the Minnesota American Indian Health and Research Workforce Development Summit. This event will take place on October 27th and 28th, 2026, at the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe’s Grand Casino in Hinckley, MN.

 

The summit is designed to move toward actionable outcomes. A goal of this two-day event is the collaborative development of the MN American Indian Health and Research Workforce Development Roadmap, a tangible plan to address long standing workforce needs in our communities.

Minnesota Nursing Workforce Summit

The Center for Nursing Equity and Excellence, Minnesota’s Nursing Workforce Center, invites you to attend the Minnesota Nursing Workforce Summit 2026.

The purpose of the Summit is to convene experts from across Minnesota in an innovative space to take action in supporting our state’s nursing workforce. We will begin the day with an overview of the state of Minnesota’s nursing workforce now, accompanied by future predictions. We will transition through the work of the Strategic Priority Task Forces, innovative solutions and projects. Followed by a facilitated working session to define and launch work on new pilot programs.

Invitees include nursing employers, nurse educators, chief nurse executives, nursing associations, policy makers, regulatory agencies, state and federal government representatives, businesses, stakeholders and more.

The cost is $50. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Space is limited so register early.
